The climate of Lithuania is similar to some certain extent to the climate of other Baltic States, it is transitional between maritime and continental. The mean temperature of January is -4.8 °C and the mean temperature of July is +17.2 °C. The average annual precipitation level is 626 mm. The weather conditions can be rather unstable.
